Recent work
One job shown properly is worth more than six shown badly. Most recent: a marble wet room in Burscough, West Lancashire, finished in July 2026.
Wet room — Burscough, July 2026
Marble and antique brass, Burscough
A walk-in wet room built into a dark, panelled bathroom — large-format veined marble-effect porcelain throughout, a level threshold and a linear drain, with antique brass fittings and a reclaimed chest of drawers reworked as the vanity.

The shower area is a true wet room rather than a tray: the floor tile runs straight into the shower with no step and no lip, and the water is taken away by a linear channel set flush at the back of the enclosure. Tanked as a continuous membrane before a single tile went down, with the falls set to the channel.
Veining that heavy only works if the tiles are set out properly, so the pattern was planned across the whole room — walls, floor and the return into the shower — before any adhesive was mixed.
The rest is the client’s eye and our fitting: unlacquered brass exposed valve, fixed rain head and slide-rail handset, a frameless screen on slim black hardware, a cast-iron column radiator on a brass towel rail, and a Victorian chest of drawers cut and sealed to take a hammered brass basin with wall-mounted taps.

More to come
This page grows as jobs finish
We would rather show one room in full than six in thumbnails. Adaptations, bathrooms and kitchens will be added here as they complete.
